Hey Meetkat, I’m in a similar situation, I have 2019 raptor headlights in my 2015 px2.. the headlights come with the headlight control module (little silver square box) built into the headlight.. do you need a relay to run it ?

HID lights will need relays to power them and also changes in the bcm with Forscan.

If the DRL's flicker then go of when engine is running then changes in the bcm with Forscan are needed.
Read back through this post Stewart has answered me with a fix for this problem

Hi everyone.I’ve completed the headlight upgrade with relays and drl pin kit. also made the changes on FORScan and everything works and no headlight flickering.one problem I’m having is when I indicate my drls still stay on and don’t turn off.my new headlights were off a 2019-20 wildtrak.is there any other changes on FORScan than need to be made?
Any help would be appreciated

THIS SHOULD APPLY TO ALL HID AND LED UPGRADES
I have seen people do some additional changes but after looking through them they disable unrelated items.
If you believe there is an error or omission below, let me know. If all works well then I will do a fresh thread with this information only.
MY19 HID or LED headlights into a vehicle with halogen lights should be as per below.
HID lights should be wired through relays as they used a headlight control module where halogen are wired directly to the BCM. HID may overload this circuit and in case of a fault with the ballast then may take the BCM out with it also.
LEDS should not require relays due to the lower current draw then HID but your mileage may vary. If you see overload DTCs on the circuit then install relays.

Hey Saeb,
I am waiting for some aftermarket tailights to arrive, I thought I remember seeing an option in Forscan to enable parklights with DRLs. I might try this to see how the tailights look if they are on with DRLs.
I am wondering if this will cause any damage to the DRL headlights I have installed? since there will be power coming from DRL circuit + Park circuit at the same time. Don't want to risk damaging the headlights.

Totally different circuit. It's just parkers on with DRLS which I enable for client quiet frequently.GenieMan wrote: ↑Sat Jul 08, 2023 8:16 pm Hey Saeb,

Oh I see, I figured that since it looks like park lights is just the same LEDs but at lower brightness, that having both active might hurt it. Sweet then! Thanks for the quick reply.saeb wrote: ↑Sat Jul 08, 2023 8:25 pmTotally different circuit. I was under the assumption you were using the DRL circuit. Anyway, it should be fine.

Just realise I have posted my reply on the wrong thread.
So just so I’m 100% clear. I have the WildTrak factory DRL lights on my 2015 PX2. I ran the wires from the PCM as per your guide. Is turning on Park with DRL still safe in this setup?
Sorry for repeating myself, just want to make sure neither of us is confused

So I got the lights today, I tested changing the park lamps setting, but it made the front lights be in dimmed mode when DRLs on. Have turned off for now.

Tried this as built but did not see any change. I then tried changing the Daytime Running Lights Includes Parklamps option and got same behaviour as before.
Photos of the states:
With Daytime Running Lights Includes Parklamps on =
Front DRL dimmed, rear park lights on With Daytime Running Lights Includes Parklamps off = Is there extra wiring I should have done? At the moment, the wiring is factory (afaik) except for me running the 2 wires from BCM plug under steering wheel for the DRLs.
Actually I just went back out and took a video on my phone while changing the setting, and I noticed that my bulbar DRLs are still working as intended (switching between bright DRL and dimmed park), and that bull bar light is wired into the same wires as park and DRL. So I wonder if the ford DRL headlights have something builtin that cuts out bight DRL when there is voltage on park wire??
