Hi All,
Have a 20.25 XLT. Recently retired and beginning to set the Ranger up to tow a caravan.
1st project is a cable from the main batt to a rear Anderson plug.
I'd also like to replace the exist 12v socket in the tub to an anderson plug - does anyone know of a suitable surface mounted plug that will screww into the existing mounting?

thanks

Hi
The exsisting socket in the tub is only rated to 10amps, plus it times out fairly quickly once the ignition is off.
Best to put an Anderson plug in the tub straight off the battery with some heavy wire to avoid any voltage drop, I have done the same thing.
The Anderson plug on the towbar is also connected directly to the battery, I used 100amp wire so no voltage drop when towing the van.
